Gesso shards, ink wash, flashe, metallic paints, rag paper,1995-6 The Orpheo book is a non verbal, non-linear interpretation of the classical Orpheus andEurydice legend. It was visually encouraged by the music and libretto of the 18th century German composer Christopher Willibard Gluck. In this large book pages are layered with shards of gesso, ink and flashe washes and pumice surfaces. A center fold opens to a width of 94 inches. The paper is both rag and hand stained Japanese sheets. 24 Pages.
